… and we are happy to announce a NEW vendor at the upcoming Local Product Festival in Shigawake on July 14, 2013. Ge, le pied sur la pédale makes ecoresponsible (and really cool and cute) clothes for kids, right here in Gaspesie!
Can’t wait to pick up some outfits for my kids, and in turn contribute to our local economy.
Recent tragedies at clothing sweatshops in third world countries make it clearer than ever why we must support a local clothing industry again. So come on out to the festival, and pick up some kids clothing with a conscience!
Ferme BOS G will be back for another year at the Local Product Festival on Sunday July 14 with an excellent variety of steaks and roasts, sausages and deli meats. Yak meat is extra lean, offering a healthy choice for all the Jack Sprats out there who prefer to take a pass on the fat.

Local garlic producer Brigitte Beaudoin will be at the Growing Forward gardening forum at Hopetown Old School on Saturday March 23rd to share her growing tips and tricks for this increasingly popular crop.

La Fermette d’Antan (Percé) will be joining us at the Local Products Festival on July 15th and bringing along a selection of their honey, edible flowers and medicinal herbs.

Ferme Blais (Cascapedia St-Jules) products will be at the local products festival both July 14th & 15th. On the evening of July 14th we will be serving up their tasty sausages on the BBQ for the beer & cheese evening. Then on July 15th they will have a vendor’s kiosk with their delicious sausages and maple sugar products available for purchase. Potager VégéTerre (Saint-Simeon) will be bring their fresh garlic, herbal teas, fresh herbs and veggies to the Local Products Festival on July 15th. Visitors will be in veggie heaven!
